Former Leaf captain Dave Keon says he is happy current captain Mats Sundin has passed him on the team’s all-time scoring list. Sundin picked up two goals and an assist against Carolina on Friday to sit with 859 points as a Leaf. Keon finished with 858 in a Leaf uniform. Keon, still bitter at how he was forced out of Toronto by late owner Harold Ballard, doesn’t like to speak with the media. But he did send word through his son, Dave Keon Jr., that he wishes Sundin well. “He thinks it’s great that Mats passed him on the list, that records are made to be broken,” said Keon Jr. “He said Mats is a great captain because he’s a leader and a hard worker.”
